My favorite place to eat in Gainesville :) Heavily recommend the cucumber kimchi, mandu (dumplings), bulgogi cupbap (or sweet & spicy chicken), and chicken skewers (both gochujang & garlic ginger chicken). The bulgogi ramyun is also very comfy on a cold day :) The outdoor seating environment is also nice, especially when the hanging string lights turn on at night! Also the family working there is very sweet <3

A family-owned food truck that strikes the perfect balance between traditional Korean flavors and Korean fusion. My partner, who is Korean and extremely nitpicky about Korean food, really likes it here and calls it the best Korean food in town. The japchae is our favorite and has the distinct toasted sesame flavor that is missing from so many japchaes in town. They also make a solid kimchi, tteokbokki, and bulgogi. There are some obvious additions they make to appeal to a wider audience such as drizzling spicy mayo, but the traditional flavor is unmistakeable. We've been here twice now and plan to return many more times in the future ❤️

• nice area, outside seating only but seemed decently clean • turf area with hammocks, deck chairs, and a bean bag toss • the lady who took my order was polite, and i waited ~7 minutes for my food (i was the only customer in person but they might’ve had online orders too) • chicken dosirak ($13): egg fried rice, sauced chicken and stir-fried veggies (zucchini, onion, bell peppers, carrot), japchae, 1 fried pork spring roll, and 1 fried mandu - the egg fried rice was surprisingly good! chewy texture with a nice black pepper flavor. - generous portion of chicken that was well cooked, but i thought the chicken and veg were over-sauced, and the sauce flavors felt a bit basic (tasted like oyster sauce and sriracha mayo). i would’ve preferred more spice (e.g. gochujang). - the japchae didn’t have anything mixed into the noodles. a nice sesame flavor and bouncy texture. - the spring roll and mandu were fried to a crispy texture but tasted unremarkable

After coming back from Korea I was craving some authentic Korean food and THIS IS IT! The man working is always super kind and I honestly think there is not a bad thing on the menu. If you’re in the area definitely check it out, SO GOOD!
